Join Tokara in Oijen, Netherlands for their first open European workshop of the 20th Anniversary World Tour.
Friday (11 October) will see participants learning the very unique techical playing style and rhythms that have been created and honed by Taiko Artist Art Lee for his world-renowned performance group, TOKARA. Exploring beyond the rhythms previously learned in his Taiko Stairmaster composition, this workshop also includes multi-drum movement, form, grip, and power unique to the Tokara style.
On Saturday (12 October), Yukari goes beyond well-known wisdom and delves into the depths of movement and strength in Yokomenuchi (sideways performance). Style and rhythms are specifically from TOKARA’s own original taiko compositions.
